Nick Napier, Pastor
Nick, a North Carolina native, was raised in a Christian home. He is married to Jenn, a wonderful wife and mother, who was also raised in a Christian home (baptized in the ARP as a covenant child). Together they have two beautiful daughters.
Nick loves to spend time with his family, hiking, camping, and finding waterfalls to admire. Occasionally, they will watch Bob Ross and have a family paint night together.
Rachael Neal, Director of Children’s Ministries
Rachael grew up in a Christian home in Huntersville, North Carolina. She attended Southlake Christian Academy and then went on to attend Esrkine College where she received an education degree. She returned to Huntersville and earned a masters of education at UNC Charlotte. She taught third grade at Southlake Christian Academy for 15 years. She joined Huntersville ARP Church in 2015. She is married to Tyler and they have one daughter, Charlotte.
Betsy Logeman, Director of Music
Betsy grew up in a Christian home in Georgia. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a Music Education degree. She married Dave Logeman in 1998, and they have 3 children. Their oldest, Amy, is married and lives in Gastonia. Trey, the middle child, is a sophomore Voice Performance major at UNC Greensboro. The baby of the family, Anne, is a sophomore at Cleveland Innovation Academy.
In her free-time, Betsy enjoys participating in community and school theatre productions as well as accompanying vocal soloists for competitions and concerts. She directs a homeschool choir in Matthews and assists with Gaston Choral Society in Gastonia. When she’s not involved in music (which is rare!) she enjoys gardening, crafts, and genealogy research. Since childhood Betsy has been involved in church music. She has always felt that the way she can use her talents to serve the Lord best is by worshipping Him through music.
Taehee Kim, Organist
Taehee is currently in his junior year at Davidson College, where he intends to major in Data Science. He was born in Korea but grew up in the greater Chicago and Indianapolis regions. He is passionate about music and has been playing the piano for 8 years and has recently picked up the organ.
In his free time, Taehee enjoys reading books, playing badminton, or learning new languages (currently, he is learning Japanese).
Barbara Palmer, Accompanist
Barbara is originally from Ohio, but has lived in NC for almost 30 years, following stints in Chicago & IN. A graduate of Denison University (with a psychology major and music minor), she was raised in a Christian home, mainly in the Methodist church. Barb has two grown children - a daughter, who is married and resides in MT, and a son at Cedarville college.
In her spare time, Barb loves hanging with friends, checking out live music, doing puzzles, working out, and singing with North Meck Community Choir. She’s also into health and wellness, as well as mental health advocacy (esp domestic abuse awareness).
Besides accompanying at HARP, Barb also teaches piano lessons to all ages and accompanies other choirs, musicals, & special events, as needed. In addition, she has a background in HR.
Heidi Reckard, Administrative Assistant
Heidi has been married to Stan for 33 years. They are parents to 5 grown children (Andrew, Emily, Amy, Kaela, and Catherine). She loves the Lord and is passionate for disciplemaking, prayer, women's ministry, and working with children in Jos, Nigeria. In her spare time, if she is not with her family, you can find her distance walking or having coffee with friends.
